Former President of the United States, Donald Trump has been indicted by a Manhattan grand jury for matters relating to making payment to an adult film actress so she will not go public about their relationship.

According to sources, Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, made several payments on behalf of the billionaire in 2016 before the Presidential elections so he can silence porn actress, Stormy Daniels. It was reported that a total of $420,000 was made to Daniels as a retainer payment.
Some of the funds allegedly came from the Trump trust, whereas others were signed by Trump himself from his personal accounts. Cohen shared that he discussed the checks with Trump in the White House when he became the president.

The real charges against Donald Trump is set to be released very soon, however, falsifying business records could be a felony under New York law if it was done in furtherance of another crime.
“This evening we contacted Mr. Trump’s attorney to coordinate his surrender to the Manhattan D.A’s office for arraignment on a Supreme Court indictment, which remains under seal. Guidance will be provided when the arraignment date is selected,” a spokesperson for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office said in a statement on Thursday (March 30, 2023) evening.
