Spartan rhythms on drum machines are the backdrop of many music hots nowadays. But top drummer Steve White, who has played with Paul Weller, The Who and Oasis during the 30-year career, reckons real drumming is bigger than ever.

White took a break from recording with Paul Weller. He played in Trio Valore with Damon Michella and Seamus Beagun. He played with Jon Lord and was also featured on the last La Rouz album.

When Did Steve White Leave the Style Council?
Steve White parted ways with The Style Council in 2007. Steve became a member of the group named The Players with ex-Style Council keyboardist Mick Talbot and ex-Ocean Colour Scene bassist, Damon Minchella.
