Juman Malouf is a Lebanese writer, costume designer, and voice actress. Juman Malouf is the partner of Wes Anderson a highly acclaimed American filmmaker.

Juman Malouf gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Freya, in 2016. She is named after a character from the film The Mortal Storm. The couple met through mutual friends over a decade ago, around the time Malouf began writing The Trilogy of Two.
Juman Malouf was born in Beirut, Lebanon and grew up in London. She graduated from Brown University with a BA in Fine Arts and Art History.

Later, she received an MFA from the Tisch School of the Arts for Set and Costume Design. She has designed and illustrated for theatre, film, and fashion in the US and Europe. The Trilogy of Two is her first novel.
Malouf has worked on some of Anderson’s films, including “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” where she drew the character sketches, and “Moonrise Kingdom,” where she designed one of Suzy’s books. Wes Anderson dedicated the film to Malouf
