Barbara Benjamin was a former announcer and dancer on The Jackie Gleason Show. The former couple met during the filming of To Kill a Mockingbird. The couple was married from 1964 to 1975.
Barbara Benjamin also played Barbara Brent in Guys and Dolls (1955) and The Courtship of Eddie’s Father (1963).

Robert Duvall made his film debut in 1962 with a small role in “To Kill a Mockingbird.” However, it was his breakout performance as the surly, yet vulnerable country singer Mac Sledge in the 1983 film “Tender Mercies” that earned him his first Academy Award for Best Actor.
