Mike Jarvis was the ninth former GW coach and the second men’s basketball coach to be elected to the University’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008.

Mike Jarvis played basketball and baseball at Northeastern University where he graduated in 1968. After getting hired at George Washington in 1990, Mike Jarvis led the Colonials to four NCAA tournament appearances.

While at St. John’s University, Mike Jarvis led the Red Storm to the Elite Eight in the 1999 NCAA Tournament and the 2000 Big East tournament championship.
