American actor, Jonathan Majors has been arrested by the New York police for assaulting a woman who is believed to be his girlfriend.

According to reports, he was arrested on Saturday morning – March 25, 2023 – after the case was reported by the victim.

TMZ states that, they got into an argument while in a taxi going home from a bar. Prior to this, the so-called girlfriend had seen text messages from another woman on Majors’ phone and had confronted him upfront. This made him sneak out and got mad, proceeding to hold her hand, squeeze, and slap her in the heat of the moment.

Law enforcement sources claim Majors was called in the same morning and booked for charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment. TMZ also reported that the alleged victim has visible bruises on her face as of the time the report was made to the police.
