Popular American actor, Jonathan Majors has been arrested after he allegedly assaulting a woman.

According to TMZ, the Creed III actor was arrested by police officers in New York City after he assaulted a woman who is believed to be his girlfriend.

Reports state that they got into an argument while in a taxi going home from a bar. Prior to this, the so-called girlfriend had seen text messages from another woman on Majors’ phone and had confronted him upfront. This made him sneak out and got mad, proceeding to hold her hand, squeeze, and slap her in the heat of the moment.

The victim reportedly added that Majors’ put his hand around her neck and hit her more than once. She then went to the police on Saturday morning – March 25, 2023 – to report the case.

According to law enforcement sources, Majors was called in the same morning and booked for charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment. TMZ also reported that the alleged victim has visible bruises on her face as of the time the report was made to the police.

A representative of Majors has come out to deny this stating that the Antman & Loki star, has done nothing wrong.

”He’s done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up,” the rep said.
