Monika Czinano stands tall at the height of 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m). Czinano completed her high school education at Watertown Mayer located in Watertown, Minnesota.

As a freshman at the University of Iowa, Monika Czinano played behind former Hawkeye Megan Gustafson in the 2018–19 season.

At Watertown Mayer High, Monika Czinano was a three-time all-conference honoree (2016, 2017, 2018), a first-team All-State selection in 2018 an All-section selection by Breakdown Sports Media in 2017 and 2018.

Monika Czinano took over the starting center position in the 2019–20 season at the University of Iowa.
In the 2019-20 college season, Monika Czinano played 29 games and started 28. She was also named first-team All-BigTen by the media.
Monika Czinano was a letter-winner and state qualifier in track, swimming, and volleyball in high school. She averaged 23 points and 14 rebounds per game during her senior year.
Monika Czinano led the Big Ten in shooting percentage (67.9) and ranked second nationally, shooting 201 of 296 in the 2019-2020 season.
Monika Czinano made her mark during her senior year at Iowa becoming the 38th all-time in Big Ten Conference history.
