Regé-Jean Page Parents: Meet His Mother and Father

Regé-Jean Page is a Zimbabwean-English actor. Regé-Jean Page was born in London to a Zimbabwean nurse and an English preacher. He is the third of four children, and he and his brother used to be in a band.

Regé-Jean Page grew up in his mother’s hometown of Harare before moving to London for secondary school, where he pursued a hobby of acting and studied sound engineering at the National Youth Theatre. He enrolled at Drama Centre London after two years of auditioning.

He shared with Interview Magazine in 2016 that “Home is very much wherever it is that your people are and where you fit in. I spent my whole life figuring out how to be different people.”

His parents are both of different races. He claimed his parents were one of the early couples to get interracially wed. The pair raised their children globally.

Regé-Jean Page appeared in a number of television shows, including Waterloo Road (2015) on BBC One, Roots (2016) on History, and For the People (2018-2019) on ABC, before becoming well-known for his role in the first season of the Netflix period drama Bridgerton (2020).
