Norwegian actress and singer Anita Thallaug lived from February 14, 1938, to March 20, 2023. On February 14th, 1938, Thallaug was born in Baerum.

Thallaug appeared in musicals, movies, and television shows. By the age of seven, she was playing at the Spider theater in Oslo under the name Vesla Rolfsen. She appeared frequently on NRK children’s shows in the 1950s. With the song “Solhverv,” Thallaug represented Norway in the 1963 Eurovision Song Contest and placed 13th overall (last). She was the first of four Norwegian competitors to receive a zero. She passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 85.
