Jordyn Merritt was named a five-star recruit and the nation’s No. 27 overall player by ESPN HoopGurlz. She also earned a 97 overall scouts grade from ESPN.

Jordyn Merritt was the No. 4 player in the state of Texas. She was the highest-ranked recruit to sign with Florida since 2013.

The 2021-22 season marked Jordyn Merritt’s second season of collegiate competition. She ended her sophomore season as the third-leading scorer for the Gators, averaging 10.1 points per game.

Jordyn Merritt became the second player in program history to be named to the Jordan Brand Classic roster. She was named the Dallas Morning News SportsDay High School All-Area Girls Basketball Player of the Year.
