Stormy Daniels described in 2011, her purported affair with Donald Trump during a tell-all-sit-down with In Touch Weekly magazine.

She said she met Trump at a charity golf tournament in July 2006 and alleged the pair had sex once in his hotel room at Lake Tahoe, a resort area between California and Nevada. A lawyer for Trump denied this at the time.

According to reports, Trump and his surrogates paid $130,000 in hush money to silence Daniels about the affair. On January 31, 2023, Trump appeared to admit to the affair in Truth Social.

In a March 25, 2018, interview with 60 Minutes, Daniels said that she and Trump had sex once, and that she had been threatened in front of her infant daughter and felt pressured to later sign a non-disclosure agreement.
