Ed Cooley suffers from a skin condition that has caused several bald spots on the back of his head, which have led to some less-than-kind remarks from Twitter users.
Cooley hasn’t said much about his condition, but it’s thought to be either alopecia areata or vitiligo. Alopecia causes hair falls out in small patches on the scalp in the majority of alopecia cases.

Vitiligo is a skin condition in which pigment cells are lost. It causes discoloured patches on various parts of the body.
This is the condition allegedly suffered by late pop superstar Michael Jackson, as well as former baseball superstar Sammy Sosa.
Former NBA player Charlie Villanueva and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier both have alopecia areata, which affects their entire body.
