Gloria Dea was an actress, dancer, and magician from the United States. Gloria Dea had no children. Her husband died in January 2022.

Her caretaker Bowes had cared for her for years and spent more time with Dea than anyone late in her life.

Gloria Dea, died at the age of 100 on Saturday, 18 March 2023, morning from coronary artery disease. Dea died in hospice care at her home in Las Vegas. Plans for a memorial are still being developed.

Dea’s stage career ended in the late 1940s and early 1950s when she relocated to Southern California and began working in movies. She appeared in films such as 1945’s “Mexicana,” about a “Mexican Frank Sinatra,” 1952’s “King of the Congo,” and Ed Wood’s 1957 classic “Plan 9 From Outer Space.”

Gloria Dea sold insurance and then new and used cars for a Chevrolet dealership in the San Fernando Valley after leaving the entertainment industry.
