They had a bone marrow donor lined up, but the donor passed away, so they looked into Hannah’s biological mother, Izzie Stevens, as a possible match.

They approached her biological mother and asked if she’d donate despite being only a half-match. She agreed, but asked to see Hannah.

Suzanne Rossell Cryer (born January 13, 1967) is an American actress best known for her appearances as Ashley on ABC’s Two Men and a Girl and Laurie Bream on HBO’s Silicon Valley.

Suzanne  appeared in “The Yada Yada,” an award-winning and fan-favorite Seinfeld episode. She’s also appeared on Broadway.

Suzanne Cryer had a guest role in an episode of Seinfeld in 1997, in the episode “The Yada Yada.” She portrayed George’s girlfriend Marcy, who was fond of saying “yada yada yada.”
