Aspinall had a leg injury, a torn MCL, a torn meniscus and ACL damage during a routine kick at UFC in 2022.

Who Is Tom Aspinall?

Tom Aspinall is a professional mixed martial artist, who fights in the Heavyweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Born on April 11, 1993, in Manchester, Aspinall ranks number 5 in the UFC heavyweight rankings.

Aspinall had fought with the Cage Warriors before he got signed to the UFC.

Aspinall made his promotional debut in 2020 at UFC, and won the fight via a technical knockout in the first round. At the end of the day, he earned the Performance of the Night award.

Aspinall won his third Performance of the Night bonus award, when he faced Sergey Spivak at UFC Fight Night 191, and won the fight by a technical knockout.

In 2022, Aspinall faced Alexander Volkov, and again,  won the fight via straight armbar submission in the first round.

Aspinall sustained a knee injury in July 2022, when he faced Curtis Blaydes at UFC Fight Night 208, as a result, he lost the fight by technical knockout.
