She was picked by director Brian De Palma in a casting call to appear in the 1984 music video for Bruce Springsteen’s Dancing in the Dark.

She started her television role in 1987 when she starred as Tara in the movie Down Twisted. She also starred in the movie Masters of the Universe the following year as Julie Winston.
