Devon Sawa took a break from acting at the time his career was at its peak. According to him, he did not deliberately take a break because he wanted to, but he only did that to put himself in a good shape.

“It wasn’t completely my choice to take a break. I was burnt out, I was drinking too much. I was partying too much,” he shared.

He also shared that after his role in Final Destination 1, he didn’t get roles he really wanted.

“There was a point in my career after Final Destination where I wasn’t happy doing what I was doing. I may have been a bit moodier. They were throwing me money for movies that weren’t great. I wasn’t happy doing them. It was more interesting for me to go out and find bars or what to do that night I wasn’t happy in my life doing what I was doing, and that’s where Hunter is at this moment,” he said.
