JP McManus is a racehorse owner and businessman from Ireland. McManus has a history of donating multiple times. McManus donated over €1 million to the Daughters of Charity Foundation in July 2012.

In 2020, he donated equipment to the University Hospital, Dooradoyle, during the 2019-22 Coronavirus pandemic.
JP McManus received the Community Foundation for Ireland Philanthropist of the Year in 2007. He received the award for his support of charities in Ireland, especially in his native Limerick.

JP McManus started his business career at his family’s construction company. Soon after, he found his calling as an on-course bookmaker at Limerick’s greyhound racecourse, the Market’s Field.
He and his wife, Noreen, purchased Martinstown Stud on over 400 acres in County Limerick in 1982 and his first horse, “Cill Dara.” He went on to build the empire he has today, which includes 400 horses in training.
According to The Racing Post, his investment in horse racing has resulted in a reported €33,209,870 in winnings since 2008.
JP McManus owns a €100m mansion in London and also owns Adare Manor, which will play host to the Ryder Cup in 2027.
