Cameron Sutton is an American football star who plays the cornerback position for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL).

Born on February 27, 1995, in Georgia, Sutton began to play the cornerback and wide receiver position from  Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, Georgia.

He made a record of 1,396 all-purpose yards and 19 touchdowns as a high school senior.

Sutton later committed to play college football at Tennessee, where he was starter for all 12 games during his freshman year, and recorded 39 tackles, two interceptions, one sack, and a touchdown.

In 2017, Sutton was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers as 94th overall pick, in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The team had signed him into a four-year deal worth $3.21 million.

In 2021, the Steelers signed him again to another two-year deal worth $9 million.

In March 2023, Sutton began playing for the Detroit Lions,  after signing a three year contract which includes $22.5 million guaranteed.
