Glynn Wolfe: Meet Bonny Lee Bakley’s Eighth Husband

Glynn Wolfe was an American Baptist minister known for holding the record for “the largest number of monogamous marriages”, having married 29 times.

Wolfe was Bakley’s eight husband, and she was his 26th wife. Bakley did not have children for Wolfe, but he had 19 children in his lifetime.

The duo were married in 1995 but the marriage was annulled in the same year.

Wolfe died in 1997, at age 88.

Who Was Bonny Lee Bakley?

Bonny Lee Bakley was the famous and second wife of actor Robert Blake, who was murdered outside a Los Angeles-area restaurant in 2001, while sitting in his car.

Blake who is her 10th husband was later accused of having a hand in Bakley’s death. Although he was found not guilty, the case remains unresolved.

Bakley on her own was known to be obsessed with celebrities as afar back as 1990s. She had pursued the likes of singer Jerry Lee Lewis, Dean Martin, Frankie Valli, and Gary Busey.

She also extended her obsession to Christian Brando, the son of actor Marlon Brando and former actress Anna Kashfi.

Bakley lost her life on May 4, 2001, during a dinner outing with her husband Blake at Vitello’s Restaurant on Tujunga Avenue in Studio City, Los Angeles.

She was brutally shot in the head while sitting in Blake’s parked car. Bakley was “buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.” She was aged 44.
