He co-hosts the BBC One property auction series Homes Under the Hammer alongside Martel Maxwell (as of 2016) and Dion Dublin, though Lucy Alexander served as his co-host for a long time.
In addition, he broadcasts the Talkradio program “Home Rule with Martin Roberts,” where he discusses real estate.

He went to Appleton Hall Grammar School before attending the University of Bradford to study electronic engineering and work as a DJ on Ramair, the school’s radio station, from 1983 to 1986.
