Elaine Boeheim is the ex-wife of Jim Boeheim an American former college basketball coach. The couple were married from 1976 to 1994. They had a daughter together called Elizabeth.

Jim Boeheim has led the Orange to ten Big East regular season championships, five Big East tournament titles, and 34 NCAA tournament appearances, including five Final Four appearances and three national title game appearances.
Jim Boeheim, a four-time BIG EAST Coach of the Year, has also been named NABC District II Coach of the Year ten times and USBWA District II Coach of the Year four times.
During 2000 Final Four, he received the Claire Bee Award for his contributions to the sport. He received Syracuse University’s Arents Award, the school’s highest alumni honour, in the fall of 2000.
