Is GloRilla and Cardi B cousins?

GloRilla is a Memphis, Tennessee-based rapper. Gorilla and Cardi B are not related by blood. However, Glorilla sees Cardi B as family.

In a new interview with NME published on Wednesday, October 26 2022, GloRilla shared that Cardi B has a “genuine heart” and was easy to connect to.

“I ain’t got a lot of friends, and I’m easy to deal with. Cardi is my cousin. I was so happy and excited during the whole creative process,” she expressed.

“Cardi is a really sweet soul with such a genuine heart, and we come from a similar background, so it was easy to connect. And it was crazy when ‘Tomorrow 2’ hit the charts. I was like, ‘Ah! Ain’t nobody knew about me a couple of months ago!’

Her single “Tomorrow 2” (featuring Cardi B) made the Billboard Hot 100 top ten. Her single “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” spawned a remix featuring City Girls’ Latto and JT.

GloRilla’s 2022 song “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” (with Hitkidd) was nominated for Best Rap Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.
