Born on May 14, 1952, in Scotland, Byrne had been a pioneer member, lead vocalist, and guitarist of the American new wave band Talking Heads.
As a solo artist, Byrne has done a number of songs and worked across film, photography, opera, fiction, and non-fiction.
Byrne has done a number of songs, albums, and musical collaborations with artists, including the 2022 collaboration with Mala Gaonkar on “Theater of the Mind”.
