Is Mark Pilgrim still alive? How did Mark Pilgrim die?

South African media personality, Mark Pilgrim is not alive. He was reported dead on Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was 53 years at the time of death. He left behind two daughters, Tayla-Jean and Alyssa Pilgrim.

Pilgrim was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer which eventually took his life. On July 14, 2008, he suffered a sudden and severe heart attack, in his doctor’s office which resulted in permanent heart damage. losing 10% of his heart’s functionality. He was admitted to the hospital after he was diagnosed with lung cancer for the second time. He shared that it was a tough battle to go through but he was still being hopeful.

“This time, stage four lung cancer, which also metastasized and went to my femur, the base of my spine, and my lymph nodes. This section of my YouTube channel is for anyone who is going through cancer or is supporting someone who is. It documents my journey and desires to find positivity,” he shared.
