Mark Pilgrim Health: What disease did Mark Pilgrim have?

South African radio and television personality, Mark Pilgrim was initially diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer in 1988. The cancer was so aggressive it spread through his lungs and kidneys. In 2022, he was also diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. On July 14, 2008, he suffered a sudden and severe heart attack, in his doctor’s office which resulted in permanent heart damage. losing 10% of his heart’s functionality.

He was reported dead on Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was 53 years at the time of death. He left behind two daughters, Tayla-Jean and Alyssa Pilgrim.
