Jones, who also bears the nickname ‘5 star’, holds a Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has a martial arts record of 13 wins out of 23 fights.

Born on August 4, 1990, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Jones amateur career began after training in jujitsu.

His first fight was in 2011 against homegrown fighter Kyle Aguon, whom he eventually beat out for the Bantamweight belt.

Jones has faced world martial arts champions, while fighting for ACA and Japanese DEEP.

During the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2020, Jones earned the Performance of the Night award, after recording a victory over Timur Valiev.

After that event, Jones was suspended for four and a half months for testing positive for marijuana. His victory was reversed and he was fined $1,800.
