The Montreal Expos selected Grady Sizemore in the third round of the 2000 Major League Baseball draft.

Ted Sizemore was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 15th round of the 1966 MLB June Amateur Draft from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI).

Grady Sizemore played in Major League Baseball for the Cleveland Indians from 2004 through 2011. He also played with the Boston Red Sox in 2014, and the Philadelphia Phillies from 2014 to 2015 before finishing 2015 with the Tampa Bay Rays.
Grady Sizemore made his Major League debut on July 21, 2004. Grady Sizemore joined Roberto Alomar as the only two players in franchise history to record 20 doubles, 10 triples, 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in the same season.
On August 25, 2008, Grady Sizemore became the 32nd member of the 30–30 club after hitting his 30th and 31st home run against Armando Galarraga of the Detroit Tigers.
In February 2017, the Indians hired Grady Sizemore as an advisor to the team’s player development department.
