Kali Uchis graduated from T. C. Williams High School (renamed Alexandria City High School). Following her graduation, Uchis released her debut mixtape, Drunken Babble, on August 1, 2012.
In 2014, Kali Uchis collaborated with rapper Snoop Dogg on the song “On Edge” for his mixtape, That’s My Work 3.

Kali Uchis’s second studio album and her first Spanish language project, Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios), was released in 2020.
On December 9, 2019, Kali Uchis was featured on the single “10%” by Canadian producer Kaytranada, which was taken from his album Bubba.
For her collaboration with Colombian musician Juanes, Kali Uchis was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for Record of the Year for “El Ratico” in October 2017.
“Telepatía” from Uchis’ second studio album debuted inside the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, reaching the peak of the chart on the week of May 22, 2021.
