The 2023 Nigeria Presidential elections is by far the most intense elections in the history of Nigeria in the past two decades. As some people cry for change, others are also voting based on religious and tribal allegiance. Currently, the APC candidate, Tinubu is leading the Presidential race, however, his strong opponents, Atiku of PDP and Obi of the Labour Party are heavily against his victory.

Tinubu has currently raked in over 44% of the votes while Atiku and Peter Obi have gathered 33% and 18% respectively. The two losing parties have shared that the  APC, which is also the current ruling party are severely rigging the ongoing elections as most of their numbers are above the number of registered voters.

European observers of the elections have shared that it has been extremely poor and disorganized without transparency. The APC and PDP have run the Nigerian government since it gained freedom from military power in 1999. Peter Obi of the Labour Party seeks to bring a new challenge to the game, having managed to gather so many young people to his camp.

As someone who once served as the governor of Anambra State, Obi has pulled several records of his political career, where he served the state diligently with little or no failures.
