Maryse Mizanin Parents: Meet Marjolaine Martin and Guy Ouellet

On January 21, 1983, Maryse Mizanin, a professional wrestler, actress, and beauty model, was born in Canada. She presently works for WWE and goes by the ring name Maryse when she and her husband, The Miz, appear on the Raw brand.

Maryse spent a number of years modeling before signing on with WWE, even taking home the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada crown in 2003. After participating in the WWE Diva Search contest, she was subsequently employed by the organization in 2006.

Before being assigned to the SmackDown brand in 2008, she began her career in developing territories like Ohio Valley Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling. In that year, Maryse won her first WWE Divas Championship, marking a crucial turning point in her career.

Maryse became the first woman to hold the Divas Championship more than once in 2010 after being selected for the WWE Raw brand in 2009. She had previously won the belt once. Until her departure from the business in 2011, she managed Ted DiBiase and co-hosted the wrestling reality series NXT.

In 2016, Maryse triumphantly made her way back to the WWE, this time serving as The Miz’s manager. In the same year, she also joined the cast of the reality series Total Divas. The couple received their own spin-off program in 2018 called Miz & Mrs., which heavily highlighted Maryse. Also, the show’s executive producers are the two of them.
