It was announced in January 2020 that Sinckler had committed to a two-year contract with Bristol Bears, which he would formally sign in the summer. He was expected to stay at Harlequins for the remainder of the 2019–2020 campaign, though.

Before the 2011–12 season, Sinckler was selected for England under–20 Elite Player Squad. In his first season, he played 10 times, competing in both the 2012 IRB Junior World Championships and the Six Nations Championship. In the latter, he scored in the pool-stage matches against Italy and Ireland.

Although Sinckler was a member of the team for the 2012–13 campaign, he was only able to participate in three games because of his obligations to Harlequins for the 2013 Youth Six Nations.
