David Fincher’s parents are Jack Fincher and Claire Mai Fincher. Claire Mae Boettcher was a mental health nurse from South Dakota who worked in drug addiction programs.

David Fincher’s father, Howard Kelly “Jack” Fincher was born on December 6, 1930, and died on April 10, 2003. He hails from Oklahoma and worked as a reporter and bureau chief for Life magazine.
