Jon Favreau has revealed that he trained with chef Roy Choi and attended cooking school to prepare for his role as chef Carl Casper.

Favreau spent three months training under the LA-based star chef Roy Choi. Chef Roy sent Favreau off to formal training at a French academy and had him go undercover on his Kogi BBQ truck.
