Lanto Griffin, a PGA Tour pro from the United States, was born on June 15, 1988.

Griffin was born in Mount Shasta, California, and moved to Blacksburg, Virginia, with his family when he was a little child. He won the 2009 Colonial Athletic Conference Player of the Year honor at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he played golf in college. He started working professionally in 2010.
Griffin, who competed on the Korn Ferry Tour during the 2019 season, finished sixth overall for the regular season (The 25), and as a result, he was given a berth on the PGA Tour for a second time. Griffin also won the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Classic.

The 2019–20 PGA Tour season got off to a solid start for Griffin. He finished in the top 20 at the Sanderson Farms Championship, Safeway Open, Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, and Bermuda Championship. Griffin’s first PGA Tour victory came on October 13, 2019, when he won the Houston Open.
