Scottish singer and songwriter Lewis Capaldi experienced Tourette’s symptoms in the middle of a musical show in Frankfurt this week.

Lewis had been performing his hit song Someone You Loved when he his head and shoulders began to twitch uncontrollably.
However, Lewis fans were kind enough to assist him by singing along the rest of the song.
Lewis, 26, had last year disclosed that he battled the neurological condition, which often comes with involuntary noises and movements called tics.

The Brits Award winner later regained his composure with the help of a Neupulse device, but after the crowd had finished singing the latter part of the song.

The device seemed to have helped control the symptoms by suppressing the head and shoulder movements.
‘We support you!!’, one of his fans wrote on social media.
What Is Tourette’s Syndrome?
Tourette’s syndrome is a neurological condition that happens with involuntary noises and movements called tics (which can be vocal or physical).
Tourette’s syndrome often occurs in children who grow into adulthood with the condition. Medical researchers are yet to figure out the exact cause of Tourette’s.
A person with Tourette’s syndrome is said to have problem with a part of the brain known as the basal ganglia, which helps regulate body movements.
About 78 million people across the world are reportedly affected by this condition that has no cure.
