Thomas H. Lee, a billionaire financier, passed away at the age of 78. On Thursday morning, he was discovered dead at his Manhattan workplace. According to reports, he shot himself in the head and then died.

Twice, Thomas H. Lee has been married. American philanthropist Barbara Fish Lee served as his first wife. They got married in 1968 and divorced in 1995.
Ann Tenenbaum is his second spouse. She’s a Savannah, Georgia native. In 1996, they got married.

Ann Tenenbaum, a Sarah Lawrence College alumna. She also served from 1996 to 2004 as a trustee on the institution’s board of directors. She married Lee in 1996.
Tenenbaum is currently the Public Design Commission’s representative for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She is a member of the Board of Trustees and Visiting Committee for the Department of Photographs.
She collects fine art and serves on the board of the Studio Museum in Harlem. The Independent Curators International Leo Award was given to Tenenbaum in 2003. She served as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Dia Art Foundation from 1996 to 2006.
