Germany is where Meronk was born. From 2012 until 2016, he studied at East Tennessee State University. In 2012, 2014, and 2016, Meronk represented Poland at the Eisenhower Trophy. He tied for seventh place individually in 2012.

In 2016, Poland came in eighth, with Meronk tying for third overall. In 2015 and 2016, he participated in the Arnold Palmer Cup for Europe, where he was a member of the 2016 champions.

After winning the Eisenhower Trophy in 2016, Meronk decided to go pro. He competed on the Challenge Tour in 2017, ranking 30th in the Order of Merit after finishing second in the Ras Al Khaimah Golf Challenge.
