John Schneider is an actor and country music singer famous for playing the role of Beauregard “Bo” Duke in the American TV action/comedy series The Dukes of Hazzard.

Aside from The Dukes of Hazzard, John starred in the TV series Smallville, The Haves and the Have Nots, Leverage, The Studio Job, Doonby, and Desperate Housewives.
As a singer, John has nine studio albums and 18 singles to his credit since the 1980s. Some of his hit songs include “I’ve Been Around Enough to Know”, “Country Girls”, “What’s a Memory Like You”, and “You’re the Last Thing I Needed Tonight”.
In 2018, he appeared on the 27th season of Dancing with the Stars as a participant.
John now owns a film production studio – the John Schneider Studios (JSS) in Holden, Louisiana.
