Min Woo Lee Parents: Meet Clara Lee and Sonam Lee

Min Woo Lee was born to his parents, Soonam Lee and Clara Lee.

The family had moved to Australia from South Korea about ten years ago.

Lee regards his parents as “one of his biggest inspiration.”

Who Is Min Woo Lee?

Min Woo Lee is a pro golfer who plays on the European Tour.

Lee was born on July 27, 1998, in Perth, Australia.

As an amateur, Lee paired with his sister, Minjee Lee, and won the 2016 U.S. Junior Amateur. The duo became the first brother/sister pair to win the USGA’s junior championships.

After a successful amateur career, Lee turned pro at the beginning of 2019, and went on to win the ISPS Handa Vic Open and the Abrdn Scottish Open in 2020 and 2021 respectively.

At the Saudi International, he finished 4th place and tied for 5th position in the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth, and 117th in the Order of Merit.

Other championships Lee has competed include the Genesis Championship on the Korean Tour, the AVJennings NSW Open and the Australian PGA Championship.
