The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) disclosed that the poorest cities in Turkey are in the Kurdish provinces in the east and southeast. Mardin, Batman, Siirt, Urfa, Diyarbakir, Van, Mus, Bitlis and Hakkari are the poorest cities in Turkey.
