Who Is Pietro Addis? Meet The Man Who Allegedly Stabbed His Millionaire Grandmum After She Raised Concerns About His Drug Abuse

Pietro Addis is a 19-year old boy who stabbed his millionaire grandmother to death, after she expressed concerns about his illegal drug use.

Pietro has a history of excessively smoking cannabis and had been battling ADHD.

He was prescribed some medication but still smoked two cannabis joints every evening, took anti-depressants, and fell into depression. He later dropped out of college and was barely seen at home.

Pietro used to live with his father, Leo, and his stepmother but his behaviour made his father ask him to go live with his grandmother.

What Did Pietro Addis Do?

Pietro killed his grandmother, Sue Addis, 69, the owner of the well-known restaurants Donatello’s and Pinocchio’s, at Brighton.

Pietro had used two knives to stab her 17 times in the bath, at her £1million home in Withdean.

Late Mrs Addis was a well respected person who started the restaurant business Donatello’s and Pinocchio’s in the 1970s, and grew it to a family business.

Today, her three sons Leo, Stefano and Mikele all work at the restaurants, which have become cool spots for celebrities.
