Dan Walker Bike Accident: What Happened To Former BBC Presenter Dan Walker?

British journalist Dan Walker was recently hit by a car and knocked off his bike during a personal bike ride on Monday morning.

The former BBC host took to Twitter to announce that he sustained no serious injury, and  posted images of his bruised face.

“Bit of an accident this morning. Glad to be alive after getting hit by a car on my bike. Face is a mess but I don’t think anything is broken.

“Thanks to Shaun and Jamie for sorting me out and the lovely copper at the scene”, Walker tweeted.

A Yorkshire Ambulance Service vehicle with paramedics had come to Walker’s aid and administered him treatment immediately.

Walker now works with Channel 5 as a presenter on 5 News.

While he was with the BBC, he hosted Football Focus, BBC Breakfast, and many other  shows on BBC Radio 5 Live.

He was also a regular face on Sportsday, BBC World News,  Final Score and Match of the Day.

Walker additionally appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, during its 2021 edition.
