Richard Pelzer was raised alongside his siblings Dave Pelzer, Stan Pelzer, Kevin Pelzer and Ronald Pelzer. He received his bachelor’s degree in child and adolescent development from Southern New Hampshire University in 2015.
Richard Pelzer died by suicide on September 13, 2019, after a short and difficult battle with his mental health.
