John Fetterman Health Update: John Fetterman receives treatment for clinical depression

American Senator, John Fetterman has reportedly checked himself into a hospital to receive treatment for clinical depression as he is believed to be going through a tough moment in his life.

The Pennsylvania junior senator suffered a life-threatening stroke in 2022 while campaigning for his seat, which he eventually won. He spent two days at the hospital last week (second week of February 2023).

His chief of staff, Adam Jentleson, released a statement updating the public about the politician’s health.

“John agreed, and he is receiving treatment on a voluntary basis. After examining John, the doctors at Walter Reed told us that John is getting the care he needs, and will soon be back to himself,” the statement read.

Fetterman’s wife, Gisele Fetterman, also shared on social media;

“After what he’s been through in the past year, there is probably no-one who  wanted to talk about his own health than John. I’m so proud of him for asking for help and getting the care he needs,” she wrote.
