Born on May 9, 1940, in United Kingdom, Dobson had a long career as a player and a coach, both domestically and in Arabian teams.
His career began with Sheffield Wednesday in 1961, where he appeared in 193 games, and recorded 52 goals.
In 1966, Colin was traded to Huddersfield Town for a £20,000 and went on to help the club win the Second Division title.
Colin subsequently played for Brighton & Hove Albion, before joining Bristol Rovers as coach.
