John Wick, which has now turned into a series, follows the story of a retired gunman named John Wick who tries to track down the burglars who broke into his home, stole his vintage car, and killed his puppy, which was a precious from his late wife.
The film employed “fight choreographers and gun fu techniques adopted from Hong Kong action cinema.”
John Wick attracted positive reviews for its visual style, and more significantly, Reeves’s performance.
The film which grossed $86 million worldwide, has other sequels – John Wick: Chapter 2, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, and John Wick: Chapter 4.
