Zia Mohyeddin was a British-Pakistani actor, producer, director, and TV personality who graced the screens of the Pakistani and British cinema in many productions.

Born on June 20, 1931, Zia was known for appearing in the films ‘Lawrence of Arabia’, ‘Immaculate Conception’, and ‘A Passage to India’.

Zia was also famous for hosting the talk show Zia Mohyeddin Show.

Zia inherited the love for the arts from his father, Khadim Mohyeddin, who was a musicologist, playwright, and lyricist during his time.

Zia attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Other stage plays he acted include Long Day’s Journey into Night and Julius Caesar.
