Is Jonathan Gannon related to Rich Gannon?

Jonathan Gannon and Rich Gannon have both made their mark in their career in football, however, the two Gannons are not related to each other.

Jonathan Gannon is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League.

Jonathan Gannon previously served as an assistant coach for the Indianapolis Colts, Minnesota Vikings, Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons.

Jonathan Gannon attended Saint Ignatius High School where he was a successful three-sport athlete. At Saint Ignatius High School, Jonathan Gannon was also a standout wide receiver and defensive back.

Jonathan Gannon remained with the University of Louisville program as a volunteer assistant during the 2003–2005 seasons. He was a graduate assistant the next season for Louisville’s win in the 2006 Orange Bowl.

Jonathan Gannon served as the defensive backs and cornerbacks coach of the Indianapolis Colts under head coach Frank until 2020. He was hired by the Philadelphia Eagles as the Defensive Coordinator.
